Lueur: One line a day journal

Write one line each evening. Lueur shows it to you again a month or a year later.

Coming to iPhone and Android

Lueur is a journal for the end of the day. You write one line, add a photo or a feeling if you want, and you're done. After a few months you have a short record of what each day was like, and you can scroll back through it any time.

  • One line, up to 150 characters

There's no blank page to fill. One sentence is a full entry for the day.

  • Tag feelings, topics and places

Tag a day with how it felt, what it was about, or where you were, then see how often each one comes up over the weeks.

  • Old entries come back to you

Lueur shows you lines you wrote a month or a year ago, without you having to search for them.

  • Missing a day is fine

A missed day is left blank, with no warning. There are no records or badges, and you can turn the daily streak off in Settings.

  • Stays on your phone

Your journal is stored on your phone. There's no account, no ads and no analytics. Nothing leaves your phone unless you export it or turn on Google Drive backup.

  • Export or back up any time

Export your whole journal, lines and photos included, or back it up to your own Google Drive.

Free, with an optional subscription

Writing in Lueur is free, and so are a photo for each day, reminders, export, and Google Drive backup. An optional subscription, Lueur supporter, adds more themes, filling in days older than the last three, longer views of your feelings, and more chapters of your own. The subscription pays for the work that goes into Lueur.
